MEET DAYANA

Dayana is an accountant here at J&J Dog Supplies, and new(ish) to Colorado after moving from Georgia to Colorado Springs with her husband last year. She has been busy exploring everything Colorado has to offer, from neighborhood paths to bigger weekend adventures, and she loves having Butters by her side for it all. With his endless energy and goofy charm, he is the perfect running and walking partner, always ready to turn an ordinary outing into something a little more fun.

Hi, I’m Ricka and I live in Colorado Springs with my husband Tim and our three dogs. I work for J&J Dog Supplies as the website merchandiser, which means I keep the site updated with new products and make sure the products on the site stays current.

One of the best parts of working here is getting to test products with my own dogs. They’re always the first to try out new gear, toys, and treats, and their opinions definitely matter when it comes to what makes it onto our Staff Picks list. The products we chose are the ones my dogs go for the most and get excited about every day.

They’re also some of my personal favorites. Whether it’s gear we use on walks, toys that hold up to daily play, or treats they never get tired of, these are the products that have earned a spot in our regular routine.

MEET STEPHEN

My name is Stephen Wilkerson, and I'm the Senior Account Manager at J&J Dog Supplies. I enjoy building relationships with our customers and helping teams get the equipment they need to succeed. When I'm not working, you'll usually find me hiking, exploring Colorado, watching sports, or spending time with my wife and our dog.

MEET PEPPER

Pepper is a 9.8-pound Dachshund–Papillon mix who is six years old and full of energy. She loves barking at just about anything that moves, from other dogs to a single leaf blowing in the wind. Her favorite activity is playing fetch, as long as it's not raining (water is definitely her enemy!). Pepper joined our family five years ago after she was found roaming the streets, and she's been keeping us entertained ever since.

Our favorite place to go is anywhere as long as a car ride is involved!

PEPPER'S FAVORITES

Musher's Secret Dog Paw Wax

Pepper’s paws are very sensitive and talking walks in the winter are tough due to the salt on the ground. This wax has made a huge difference in our chilly adventures!

Dog Trainer Fanny Pack XL

I used to think fanny packs were lame…..now I never leave the house without it! It keeps everything tidy and I can take Pepper’s toy with us without her losing her mind.

Dog Training Leather Leash

Normally finding a leash to work for my 10 lb furry friend is hard because of her size. This is a high-quality leash but without a bulky bolt-snap to worry about weighing her down on our morning walks.

MURPHY'S FAVORITES

Peak Trail Leash

When she has to be on leash, her favorite is the Peak Trail Leash which gives her humans lots of different configuration options.

Peak Quandary Harness

Her favorite harness is always the Peak Quandary, which allows easy adjustment and lightweight sizing for her smaller frame. Katie loves to pair the Trail Belt with the Trail Leash for hands-free adventuring.

Boundary Bandana

When Murphy is at our feet at our favorite breweries, you can find her in our "Friendly" green Boundary Bandana. Spoiler alert: see if you can find Murphy hidden in the design!
